Cathy: So, Alain… I came across something interesting today.
Alain: Uh-oh. That already sounds suspicious. What is it?
Cathy: A cooking class.
Alain: Oh? For you?
Cathy: No. It’s a cooking class for men. Beginners only.
Alain: For men? Why “men only”?
Cathy: It says, “For men who have never used a knife before.”
Alain: Excuse me. I’ve held a knife before.
Cathy: Really? I don’t remember that.
Alain:Wait… are you trying to say something?
Cathy: Well… maybe.
Cathy: You did say you wanted to learn how to cook.
Alain: I said I might learn. That’s different.
Cathy: Ah, yes. That’s your favorite word — “someday.”
Alain: Cathy… do you really want me to cook?
Cathy: Of course I do. It’s nice to have a husband who can cook.
Alain: Ah, I see. So you just want a break sometimes.
Cathy: That does sound nice, doesn’t it?
Alain: But what if I have no talent? What if everything I make tastes terrible?
Cathy: If it’s really bad, we’ll order pizza.
Alain: So I’m just the opening act before pizza arrives?
Cathy: Don’t worry. Cooking takes practice. No one is perfect at the beginning.
